Chris is Vice President, and Head of Information Security for the Wendy's Company, where he leads a global team responsible for maintaining the information security program for the Wendy’s brand.  He has been involved in information security for over 20 years and has extensive experience in cyber security operations (offensive and defensive), risk management, and leadership.  He is a 22-year Veteran of the United States Air Force where he spent his career building, securing, and protecting DoD networks from the most advanced threat actors in the world.  He holds multiple industry certifications and received a bachelor’s degree in Network Design and Management from Western Governors University.  Chris is passionate about getting involved in the cyber community; he is on the Board of Directors for the Retail and Hospitality Information Security and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) and the Columbus Chapter of the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals.  Chris is also an Advisory Board Member of the State of Ohio CyberOhio Initiative, and leads the Wendy’s Veterans Resource Group
