Commander, 251st Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group (251 CEIG), Ohio Air National Guard

Colonel Francisco J. Dominguez is the Commander, 251st Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group (CEIG), Ohio Air National Guard, Springfield-Beckley Air National Guard Base, Springfield, OH. The group directs the training and readiness of cyberspace forces to support engineering, installation, and reconstitution of secure cyberspace infrastructure supporting C4 systems and combat communications for global information warfare activities.

Colonel Dominguez enlisted in the United States Air Force in December, 1983 and transitioned to the Texas Air National Guard in 1988. He earned his commission through the Academy of Military Science in 1996 after receiving his degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston. His deployed assignments include Engineering Installation (EI) Forward Element Chief in Iraq and Deputy Commander for EI Forces, Task Force Signal, US Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A). His operational roles include the relocation of the 272 Engineering Installation Squadron (EIS) to Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base (JRB) under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) mandate and leading EI forces during the relocation of the Western Launch and Test Range System and the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) at Vandenberg AFB, CA.

Colonel Dominguez has held various technical roles with a Fortune 50 company, including systems and services engineering, project management, internet operations, and worldwide program management. He was Deputy Commander, 251CEIG, prior to his current assignment.
