GS-15 Marc R. Vandeveer is Chief Innovation Officer and Deputy of the Strategy & Innovation Division, Innovation & Expeditionary Support Directorate, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), San Antonio Texas.  He leads innovation, strategy, analysis & analytics, and information technology efforts throughout the $17B Installation & Mission Support Enterprise, supporting customers at Headquarters Air Force, 10 MAJCOMs and 80 major installations worldwide.  He previously served 24 years active duty with tours at HQ Air Force, MAJCOM, multiple deployments and Group and Squadron commands at the 48th Mission Support Group at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, the 633d Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia and the 332d Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Balad, Iraq.
