Chief Technology Officer, National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)

Mrs. Samantha Adducchio is the Chief Technology Officer for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.  As the Chief Technology Officer, Mrs. Adducchio ensures decisions regarding the overarching technology infrastructure and capabilities advance and align to the Center’s missions to meet National, Department of Defense, and Air Force requirements.  Prior to her current assignment, Mrs. Adducchio served as the Senior Technical Advisor for NASIC’s Communications and Information Directorate where she spearheaded the introduction of devsecops for NASIC, started the modernization of analytic authoring, production, and dissemination, and cloud computing capabilities.  Prior to this assignment in 2018, Mrs. Adducchio was employed by the Aerospace Corporation and acted as the OPIR Chief Architect within NASICs Geospatial & Signatures Intelligence Group.   She began her career with the John Deere Corporation as a database administrator and then an Enterprise Architect charged with database infrastructure, data integration, and analysis.

After 22 years of service, Mrs. Adducchio retired from the Air National Guard in December 2021 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  Her final assignment was as the Commander of the 269th Combat Communications Squadron. In this role, she leads communications professionals to deploy, operate, and maintain strategic dispersal of tactical communications anywhere in the world. Lieutenant Colonel Adducchio began her service to the Missouri Air National Guard in 1999. Lt Col Adducchio has been the Training Officer, the Director of Logistics, and the Plans and Programs officer for the 251st Cyberspace Engineering and Installation Group. While on a special duty assignment with the 178th Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Group, Lt Col Adducchio coordinated the design and installation of the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) enabling mission capability. She has deployed in support of Operations Southern Watch, Northern Strike, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom as well as multiple Humanitarian support missions for Mississippi, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico
