The Dayton-Wright AFCEA Chapter cordially invites you to participate in our Wright Information Technology Summit (WITS) to be held virtually on October 6-7 2020.
The Summit theme is “Technology at the Edge.” This thought-provoking Summit will provide participants with two full days of expert panelists and esteemed keynote speakers addressing technology, experiences, and future trends. The two-day agenda conveys how the Air Force and industry are applying “Industry 4.0” in: Cybersecurity, Big Data, Industrial Internet of Things, Edge Computing, Generation Next Solutions, Business/Defense Impacts, and Business/Defense Realization.
The current agenda, speakers/panel members and their bios can be found on the event page here.
All attendees will view the presentation in a custom designed user interface which puts the speaker front and center and limits distractions.
Enjoy a virtual networking event at the end of each day. All presenters, attendees and exhibitors will have the opportunity to virtually network through the virtual portal. The space is broken into tables and booths which allow participants to freely move around and interact with different groups. Upon entering a table, participants can share their camera and microphone and interact face-to-face. The tables keep the groups small enough to facilitate a robust conversation without introducing too many people trying to speak at once.
REGISTRATION LINK to attend the event virtually will be sent out shortly before the event date. Links will not work on VPN or the Air Force network. Also, Chrome or Firefox browsers must be used.
**Note: This event is free for Academia faculty, full-time students, Government civilians, active duty military, and recently separated military.
AFCEA is a non-profit organization serving the military, government, industry, and academia as a forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence and security.
Proceeds from the WITS Conference support local high school and college scholarship opportunities. The Dayton-Wright Chapter has made local and national impacts by providing over a half-million dollars in scholarships and grants to students and teachers related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
