Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements are getting a lot of press throughout our industry, and with good reason:

• They’re expressly named as a preferred vehicle via Executive Order
• They’re expressly named as an intended vehicle for use through SecWar’s “Acquisition Transformation Strategy”
• They can be enormously efficient from an acquisition perspective
• They offer the potential to carry follow-on production contracts resulting from a successful prototype demonstration
