Thomas Girz is a Business Development Executive with IBM Global Business Services.  He focuses on applying effective solutions for public sector organizations in need of data analytics, machine learning, and augmented intelligence capabilities.  Tom has over 32 years of experience with the United States Air Force in supply chain management, aerospace systems acquisition and life cycle management, logistics, program management, policy formulation, strategic transformation, and organizational design. 

Holding strategic and executive level leadership positions throughout his career, he contributed significantly to enhanced supportability, availability, and readiness levels of aircraft fleets and aerospace equipment.  He earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio University; an MS in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology; and an MS in National Resource Strategy, Senior Acquisition Course, from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF).
