Scott Solomon

Chief Strategy Officer, U.S. Air Force & U.S. Space Force,  AT&T Public Sector & Firstnet, AT&T

Scott Solomon leads AT&T Strategy for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. He has the primary
responsibility for strategy formulation and management, overseeing strategic planning, identifying and
leading strategic initiatives, and executing capabilities and programs to meet DoD and Joint requirements to
improve operational availability, cyber security, resilience, and cost.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Solomon served over 31 years in the United States Air Force retiring as a
Colonel. He held a variety of key leadership positions in the United States and abroad culminating as Air Force
Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) for more 31,000 Air Force personnel, the A3/6
Deputy Director, and the cybersecurity Authorizing Official (AO) for all Air Force Nuclear Command and
Control Communication (NC3) systems.

He also held many key positions at Headquarters (HQ), United States Air Force at the Pentagon, HQ Air
Combat Command, and HQ Air Education & Training Command. He commanded several times to include the
second largest Training Group in the Air Force and was the Coalition Forces Air Component Commander's
(CFACC's) command and control planner while overseas supporting Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation
Iraqi Freedom.

During 911, he directly supported POTUS and SECDEF as the Flight Commander on the National Airborne
Operations Center (NAOC E-4B). As a communications engineer for the Western Range space launch team, he
conducted space launch operations for military and commercial payload vehicles along with testing the
Peacekeeper and Minuteman III weapon systems.

Mr. Solomon earned bachelor’s degrees in Robotics Engineering and Education & Training, a master’s degree
in Astronautical Engineering, and a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College. He is a life
member of the Air Force Association (AFA), the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and is serving
on the Board of Directors for the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is a published author
and a public speaker; several of his articles have been printed in DoD and industry publications and he has
spoken at numerous industry events.
