Jeff Kuhn

Principal Logistics Engineer

Dr. Jeff Kuhn is a Systems Engineer/Architect with 24 years’ experience in US Air Force weapon system development, maintenance, and sustainment.  During his 20 years of active duty US Air Force service, Dr. Kuhn served as a Test Instrumentation Engineer; C-130 Structural Engineer; F-16 and MQ-1L Maintenance Officer with service in Balad, Iraq; Air Force Research Laboratory High Explosives Research and Development Branch Chief; B-2 Modification Program Manager; and Contract Support Drawdown Lead for the Army’s 4th Infantry Division with service in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  He concluded his active duty service as the Material Leader in charge of all maintenance and sustainment planning for AFLCMC’s Strike Systems Division.  After his retirement from active duty, Dr. Kuhn returned to the B-2 program office as communications system architect, assisting in modification and upgrade planning.  He currently works in AFLCMC's Strike Systems Division, conducting Condition Based Maintenance and Sustainment Program Office planning, with focus on required activities, tools, infrastructure, and information technology architecture.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1997, his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fresno State University in 2000, and his Doctorate focused on Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2009.
