On February 11, 2017, the Dayton-Wright Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications-Electronics Association (AFCEA) will present our annual Valentine’s Day Ball at the Hope Hotel. This year’s black-tie event will be a night of elegance and romance as we present a gourmet dinner followed by an evening of live music and entertainment. By popular demand, we will have our Monte Carlo Room with Charity Gaming, Silent Auction, and Cigar and Scotch room. You don’t want to miss this signature AFCEA event!
This event, like all chapter events, is focused on raising funds to support our science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) scholarship initiatives. Our chapter has invested well over a million dollars over the years in STEM initiatives that support our USAF enlisted members, local high school students and several area colleges and universities, thanks to sponsors like you. Our goal is to encourage young people and professionals to seek a career in STEM disciplines and to volunteer to serve through AFCEA. Please join our internationally recognized AFCEA chapter in our efforts to promote this event and raise funds for our scholarship programs.
We are expecting more than 250 attendees for this year’s event to include senior leaders from Wright Patterson AFB, our community, and local businesses. The Dayton-Wright AFCEA Chapter is partnering with a limited number of organizations to sponsor this exclusive event to help raise funds for STEM scholarships and programs for our troops and young people in the Miami Valley.
