Dr. Michael Schneider is the Chief Engineer for the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office, Augmented and Virtual Reality Program. He supports the enduring implementation of AR and VR for the sustainment enterprise, from the flightline to the backshop, and the schoolhouse to the depot. With a decade of crew systems experience in manned and unmanned weapon systems, it's exciting to field new cognitively integrated systems directly on an airman's head. He earned a PhD in Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology with research focuses on human-AI teaming.
