Digital Enterprise Lead, Air Force Research Lab

Mr. Brench Boden leads the Digital Enterprise technical area in the Air Force Manufacturing Technology Program. His responsibilities include strategic planning, technology roadmapping, and program development across a diverse technical spectrum that includes information integration tools and standards, modeling and simulation, engineering analysis, and supply chain management. He is an original author of the AF Digital Thread vision, and co-leads its implementation for AFRL. Additionally, he is the architect of the Next Generation Agile Manufacturing vision for ManTech, and was formerly Chief Technology Officer for the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute.

Brench has been in the DoD manufacturing technology community since 1990, during which time he has developed numerous impactful, award-winning programs in acquisition reform, implementation of lean production, and digital engineering. He is the twice former chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Enterprise Subpanel under the Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel, former co-chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Committee under the NDIA Manufacturing Division, and chaired the 2000 Defense Manufacturing Conference.
